Benefits: This role, following probationary period, is eligible for the following benefits including medical allowance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and paid holidays. After one year, participation in the annual team bonus.

For this new role the expectation is physical appearance in-office alongside our Austin based members.

About the Position: As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a significant role in PTG’s ability to fulfill our core mission to clients. Digital Marketing Specialists must bring sharp analytical skills, a passion for working in a highly collaborative and values-driven environment, and if possible, a track record of successfully building, launching, and managing effective marketing campaigns. This person will hold a pivotal role in advancing PTG’s plans to scale its client base meaning this future team member must help fill a critical gap by executing marketing tasks aligned with the company’s broader business goals. Reporting to the Marketing Director for oversight and guidance, your day-to-day responsibilities may grow to include, social media management, collateral design, email campaign development, proofreading memorandums, analyzing marketing performance reports, launching paid advertising initiatives, improving SEO visibility, and optimizing websites or landing pages.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions of the Role with Initial and Ongoing Training: 

  • Master an understanding as it relates to PTG’s core service offerings.
  • Learn how to support special projects and programs that are currently in effect or in progress.
  • Ensure all materials, deliverables, and processes are consistent with PTG’s standards of excellence.
  • Run ongoing email marketing campaigns using automation software and ensuring optimal deliverability for recipients receiving campaign outbounds.
  • Conduct research and analysis to make recommendations and as PTG expands its outreach into new verticals.
  • Collaborate and work in tandem with fellow team members in Marketing and Business Development departments.
  • Eventually produce and generate written content drafts for purposes of advertising, email outreach, social media posts, blog articles, and other internal or external communications.
  • Engage and collaborate with team members routinely through department meetings to advance business goals.
  • Contribute to the development of new campaigns and help execute marketing strategies to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Curate and analyze performance data to support management’s decision-making and campaign effectiveness.
  • Assist in the execution of data-driven marketing strategies to achieve measurable results.
  • Monitor, track, interpret, and optimize campaign metrics gathered from tracking software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly campaign performance reports to the Marketing and Business Development teams.
  • Support day-to-day marketing department efforts as discussed in meetings and assist with the delivery of marketing materials.
  • Participate in organizing marketing collateral and materials within internal software systems.

Experience/Qualifications and Requisite Skill Development for this Position:

  • A growing proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads & Campaign Manager, and various SEO tools.
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of email marketing best practices and the process of initiating, launching, and overseeing email campaigns start to finish utilizing email marketing software.
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively with remote team members and coordinate cross-functional projects while accommodating varying schedules.
  • Develop a detail-oriented approach to producing graphic design visuals and materials. Comfortable using graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Express.
  • A growing familiarity with WordPress, including editing, optimizing, and maintaining website performance to prevent interruptions for clients or site visitors.
  • Optimize in house training for using internal communication platforms (Box, Slack, and Google Workspace: Drive, Sheets, Slides, Meet).
  • Thorough in proofreading and performing quality checks on memorandums, documents, submittals, and other materials.
  • Higher education experience (minimum 2+ years at a college or university preferred). A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, public relations, finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time employment in a related role; corporate office experience preferred.


Preferred Experience Requirements:

  • Talented in graphic design creation using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) software for social media, collateral, and corporate branding purposes.
  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing and email automation software used to reach mass audiences, with the ability to implement strategies that increase open rates and conversions.
